19th Century Large Solid Walnut Upholstered Stool. Completely re-upholstered from the frame using the original horsehair stuffings and covered with Gainsborough fabric from Sudbury, Suffolk. Nicely carved with scrolls & motifs in fine original condition. This fabulous large stool can be used for a variety of functions, including as a long bench coffee table in front of a sofa. The original upholstery is stitched in such a way that the top is fairly flat, allowing a tray to be placed upon it.
