19th Century Satin Birch Luggage Stand / Rack c. 1860. Made using attractively figured satin birch, having finely turned legs & under rails. In fine condition. This beautifully constructed luggage stand is a better example than most with beautifully turned legs & rails, flush morticed joints to the top with a curved profile to the edge. All the joints are firm &, as elegant as it is, it is also very sturdy. Luggage stands are a perfect addition to a spare room so your guests do not have to put their luggage or bags on the bed.
