A Fine Quality Solid Mahogany Chippendale Style Armchair c. 1770 A large, gentleman's armchair, constructed of dense, chocolatey mahogany with pierced fret back, sea scrolls, swept arms and unusual extra front rail. The seat has been completely re-upholstered using the original horsehair stuffing and covered in Linwood linen. Retaining good colour and patination.
