Chinoiserie Lacquer & Gilt Console Table Or Side Table. Made with late 17th Century drawers. Circa 1690, the drawers retain their original naive gilt decoration & handles. Our workshops constructed the table around the drawers and lacquered it with black shellac and gold leaf to the mouldings. The table would enhance any interior, especially an entrance hall or a focal point in a sitting room.
